Tidal parks designs serve a critical social function in providing open space for cities. These shoreline edges and river inlets restore tidal nature as a feature along urban waterfronts and riverbanks. Their gentle, sloping shorelines seed the conditions for wetland plants to take root, enhancing the natural environment and creating new habitat opportunities. They have the additional benefit of supporting visually diverse, interesting landscapes where water level fluctuations can become perceptible in an urban setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
