These two cities have reeled in the Global Centre of Excellence on Climate Adaptation (GCECA) by jointly submitting the most convincing bid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EcoShape and other organisations supported the joint bid of Rotterdam and Groningen, by emphasizing the regional knowledge that was already present. EcoShape is, together with many other partners, a part of the \u2018eco system\u2019 of the Climate Centre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p>The centre will bring a large worldwide network of partners together, including knowledge institutes, companies, stake holders, local and national government and the financial sector. Their common goal is to support parties in practising climate adaptation more effectively. The knowledge centre will be set up in collaboration with the United Nations and Japan. <\/p>\n<p>Below are two images of the centers in Groningen and Rotterdam.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n<div
