Petra has been involved with EcoShape since its inception! Her deep commitment to Building with Nature principles, strong connections within the consortium, and long-standing contribution to the programme have helped shape EcoShape’s growth and impact.
At Haskoning, Petra is Leading Professional in Nature-based Solutions and brings over 20 years of experience addressing global water-related challenges in coastal and riverine areas. With a focus on robust design and engineering, she works on climate adaptation solutions that carefully balance safety, economics, and ecology.
With her experience, leadership, and long history within EcoShape, Petra is well positioned to guide the consortium during this period. We look forward to this next chapter under her leadership!
