Strategically placing fine sediment

Practical Applications

An example of a project in which mud is strategically disposed is the Mud Motor, where mud from the port of Harlingen is disposed in front of Koehoal to facilitate salt marsh growth in the Wadden Sea. More information can be found on the project page of the Mud Motor.
