Interactive Dredge Planning Tool – Singapore

Overview

The Interactive Dredge Planning Tool (IDPT) is able to perform a rapid assessment of the expected, initial ecological effects induced by dredging operations that can be defined on an interactive map. The IDPT makes use of rapid-assessment dredge plume modelling, a database with computed hydrodynamic background conditions and a database with ecological information. The tool can be used to plan or adapt dredging operations, but also to support a communication with stakeholders.

Type: Model
Project Phase: Planning & Design, Initiation
